Syllabus: SOCY 7017: Population and the Environment

This course provides an overview of social science theory and research relating human population to environmental context. Population processes -- fertility, mortality and migration -- have recriprocal relationships with land, air, and water environments. Through the reading, writing and dialgoue in this class, students will develop a strong foundational understanding of these associations.
