Call for short abstracts: 7th Conference of the Latin American Population Association (ALAP)

The VII Conference of the Latin American Population Association (ALAP) will take place on 17-22 October 2016 in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil. The theme of the conference is “Unity and diversity of demographic processes: policy challenges for Latin America and the Caribbean in an international comparative perspective”.

Topics related to population and environment include: environmental vulnerability of traditional populations; population dynamics, space and environmental change; spatial analysis data and methods in the study of population, space and the environment; environment and consumption; vulnerabilities and environmental conflicts; demography in the global environmental discussion forums: IPCC, COP, ODS.
