Climate variability and health in extremely vulnerable communities: investigating variations in surface water conditions and food security in the West African Sahel

Focusing on water, the authors investigate the extent to which the spatial variation in the availability of water is linked with children’s malnutrition in the Sahel, using remotely sensed-based measures of waterholes with health survey data.
