Report of the brainstorming on environmental impact of refugee settlement and flows in Africa

The objective of the two day brainstorming is to appreciate how environmental impacts are currently identified, and remedied. The objectives of the brainstorming are: a) to exchange views and experience on environmental damage prevention and mitigation in refugee situations; b) to receive critical comments and suggestions on the UNEP proposal ï''Prevention and Mitigation of Environmental Impact of Refugee Settlement and Flows in Africaï''; c) to identify gaps and prioritize actions which could be addressed through mutual collaboration and consultations.
