Goa: Tourism, migrations, and ecosystem transformations.

Reports findings of a study on the impact of tourism and tourism-induced migration to the coastal Goa region and its impact on the local agro-ecosystems. Concludes that it is not necessarily the influx of people but the change in relations between people and ecosystems, changes in land use, that cause environmental change.
